La festa della cultura
Il 15 giugno 2013 si svolgerà la ventesima edizione della Festa per la Cultura alla Garbatella.
l’iniziativa, fin dalla sua prima edizione, è organizzata e prodotta dall’associazione culturale Controchiave. La festa nasce a Roma il primo sabato di Giugno dell’anno 1994.
Nata in origine come FESTA PER LA MUSICA, in relazione alle crescenti necessità di accogliere al suo interno realtà diverse dall’ambito musicale, la Festa modificò la propria connotazione nel 1997 e da quel momento assunse la denominazione di FESTA PER LA CULTURA. Oggi La FESTA PER LA CULTURA si concentra nel quartiere Garbatella dove, come da tradizione, 5 piazze, e le adiacenti vie che le collegano, vengono interamente chiuse al traffico ed allestite come luoghi in grado di ospitare gruppi musicali, teatrali, di danza, artisti di strada ed associazioni del no-profit che, attraverso questa occasione di incontro e di scambio, possono interagire e creare una vera e propria rete di relazioni e collaborazioni. Testimone di una partecipazione sempre più condivisa (l’ultima edizione ha visto la partecipazione di ca 15.000 persone e 300 artisti).
Una giornata simbolo nella quale si dimostra ampiamente che le proposte artistiche non possono essere schiacciate sul metro di giudizio del mercato, e che c’è una qualificata richiesta di cultura condivisa e partecipata (i grandi eventi non sono e non possono rappresentare l’unica espressione artistica della città di Roma).

On 15 June 2013 will take place in the twentieth edition of the Festival of Culture at Garbatella.
the initiative, since its first edition, is organized and produced by the cultural Association Controchiave. The festival was born in Rome on the first Saturday of June of 1994.
Founded originally as FEAST FOR THE MUSIC, in relation to the increasing need to accommodate the different realities musical scope, the party changed its connotation in 1997 and since that time it assumed the name FEAST FOR THE CULTURE. Today The FEAST FOR THE CULTURE focuses Garbatella district where, as usual, 5 squares, and the adjacent streets that connect them, are entirely closed to traffic and set up as places capable of hosting bands, theater, dance, artists road and non-profit associations, through this opportunity to meet and exchange, can interact and create a real network of relationships and collaborations. Witness to an increasingly significant share (the last edition saw the participation of about 15,000 people and 300 artists).
A day in the symbol which amply demonstrates that the artistic proposals can not be crushed on the yardstick of the market, and that there is a demand for qualified shared culture and shared (the big events are not and can not represent the only expression artistic city of Rome).
